Midwest Rescue of Illinois is a small, passionate pit bull rescue serving the Chicago area. Our mission is to rescue good dogs from bad situations and match them to their perfect forever families, while advocating for this widely misunderstood breed.
It’s estimated that in the Chicago area, only one in 600 pit bulls will end up in a good, loving home. Their goal is to change those odds.
